Our National Parks are inspiring places that many of us share a love of visiting and recharging. So often there is a moment in nature that only lasts a few minutes. When I return to my studio, painting those moments allows me to share them.

Happy 100th Birthday to the National Park Service and the Grand Canyon. This is a special year for our National Parks and I just realized Virginia has 18 National Parks and Battlefields, many I have not visited or painted yet.
